Now the roof insulation is one its time for the roof proper.
Five lorry loads of Yorkshire stone arrived.
Yesterday (7th) it looked like this, the stones should start going into place today or tomorrow.
We have had a few hitches on the bathroom front - it wouldn't all fit in.
Now sorted we think, the bath and stuff are due to arrive today so more pics soon.
Its now the 24th. A lot has been going on.

The main scaffolding should be down this week once all the roof and the pointing are finished.
The upstairs of the existing house is now getting boarded out and plastered.
We should be back in there in early April.

A great chunk of roof was ripped out to fit the Velux rooflight for the bathroom

Mock up of part of the wine cellar. I plan to have eight of these brick arch thingies in the largest of three reveals in the cellar.
We have been busy looking at flooring materials.
This is a pretty poor shot of the bamboo that we plan to use in the bedrooms.
This we rather fancy for the lounge.
End of March - just had 2 days off - a welcome break.
A large hole has appeared in the landing - its all about moving the stairs a few feet further along to allow for the doorway onto the gallery.

I lost my office in the hallway!!
Tiling nearly finished in the bathroom and the roof light installed and looking good.
We have some time at home for the first week in April and are expecting the bamboo flooring (110 square metres) to arrive on Monday the 2nd.
With luck we will take possession of this part of the house by the week's end.
The new dining room French window went in on Saturday and on Friday and Saturday a mate of Neil's did the first fix
for the alarm wiring so that won't obstruct the remaining plasterboarding.
